On December 19, 2019, LMU welcomed to our campus the seven participants in the final Democratic National Committee presidential debate of a decade.
The candidates who took the stage at a transformed and packed Gersten Pavilion were: Joe Biden, Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar, Bernie Sanders, Tom Steyer, Elizabeth Warren and Andrew Yang. The debate was hosted by PBS NewsHour and POLITICO, and four journalists from those two outlets served as the event’s moderators.
